🌍 A personal project from Hamburg

Every drop
changes
everything.

Every day, millions of people walk hours just to reach water. Together, we can change that β€” one well at a time.

1 Well that changes everything
"I've been incredibly lucky in life β€” with people who believed in me and helped me grow. Now it's time to give something back."
β€” Justin Tempel, Founder of Rainborn
🌍 Founded in Hamburg, 2025

A technician from Hamburg building a well.

I don't run a charity. I work full-time as an international service technician. Rainborn is my personal promise to use my skills, network and resources to help build access to clean water in sub-Saharan Africa.

I'm Justin β€” industrial foreman, surfer, and freediver. Water is my element. That's why I feel so strongly about the millions of people who have to fight for it every single day.

I've worked across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I've seen the difference that infrastructure makes. A well isn't just water β€” it means girls can go to school instead of walking hours to fetch it. It means fewer waterborne diseases. It means a future.

No big organization. No overhead. Just one person, one goal, and a growing community of people who believe one well can change everything.

Built on transparency, driven by impact.

Rainborn was founded on one simple principle: every euro donated should create the maximum possible impact on the ground β€” with no unnecessary overhead and full accountability.

We document every step of the journey β€” from fundraising to construction to the first water drawn from the well. You'll always know where your money went.

πŸ’§ 100% Transparent

Every donation is tracked and reported. You see the numbers, the progress, and the result β€” always.

🀝 Personally accountable

This is a personal project by one individual, not an anonymous organization. Justin stands behind every decision and every euro.

πŸ“Έ Fully documented

🌍 Long-term thinking

We don't just build wells. We work with partners who ensure communities can maintain and benefit from infrastructure for decades.

Frequently asked

Honest answers to the most common questions.

At the moment, Rainborn is a personal initiative β€” not a registered charity. Donations via PayPal are not automatically tax-deductible. We are working on a partnership with an established NGO that will enable full tax-deductible receipts. We will announce this as soon as it's in place.
100% of donations go directly toward the well construction project. All costs are documented and published. There are no management fees or hidden deductions β€” this is a personal initiative with zero overhead.
We are currently evaluating partner organizations and regions in sub-Saharan Africa. The exact location will be determined together with an experienced on-the-ground partner to ensure the project has the greatest sustainable impact. Updates will be posted on Instagram.
